Veterans Home Yountville
The State of California Veterans Home, founded in 1884 is the largest veterans home in the United States. Aaron is honored to serve those who sacrificed so much for our country. Aaron visits the residents and staff on a regular basis. The veterans share stories and how they’re feeling and Aaron loves to listen and be present for all.
Aaron is also part of the LCC Kare-9 Military Ministry which is a ministry by veterans for veterans serving our military, veterans and their families. The Kare-9 Military Ministry dogs and their trained veteran handlers visit many places, including VFWs, VA hospitals, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Care Centers, homes of homebound veterans, Veterans clinics, Yellow Ribbon Ceremonies and various other activities to help spread the mercy and compassion of Christ Jesus.
